First you need to go to an estate agent & buy a house. Once you do you'll start off with a garden & a parlor. If you only want to get to level 10 it will take no time at all. Go to the barbarian outpost, beside the agility course are 4 plank respawns. Hang out there collecting planks & depositing them in the Barbarian Assault. Once you've banked several head to the lumber yard ( near Varrok ) & get yourself a saw ( or buy in the G.E. ). You can also pay the workers there to turn your logs into planks if you don't want to get them from respawn spots. Now grab a hammer & make some nails using your smithing skill ( or again buy in the G.E. ) . Take the hammer , saw, nails & a load of planks to the P.O.H. portal near Remington. Enter your house in building mode. You'll have a very small house with only a garden & a parlor. Go to one of the building spots & start making chairs. You'll level quickly at this point. Keep tearing out & rebuilding chairs until you have the level you need. As an alternate option you could go to another players P.O.H. workshop & build chair flatpacks on their workbench. That way you never have to actually buy a house of your own & you can sell the flatpacks for a few GP each. It's also slightly faster since you don;t have to take the time to tear out the old chair before rebuilding. If you catch me in-game later I'd be happy to lend you my workshop. |
