Question: On pokemon heartgold/soulsilver what is the best starter pokemon for the first two gyms?

Pokemon heartgold/ soulsilver is being realised on 25th of march in Australia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so what is the best starter pokemon for the first two gyms? i have a team set up in platinum with arceus, garchomp, charizard, regigigas, darkrai and mew all lvl 20 and shiny with special action replay moves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 1st 2 gyms being Falkner with : Lv. 9 Pidgey Lv. 13 Pidgeotto And Bugsy with: Lv. 15 Metapod Lv. 15 Kakuna Lv. 17 Scyther Chirorita will get slaughtered Cyndaquil fire is super effective against Bugsy pokemon And Totodile ( if learned Ice moves) can beat Falkner But overall i would choose Chikorita, this will make the game more challenging. But for you i would pick Cyndaquil Hope this helped Mip

The best starter pokemon for the first two gym is Certainly NOT a Chikorita. I will back Cyndaquil since fire attacks are super effective against the 2nd Gym and normal effective against 1st Gym. Totodiles attacks are all normal effective against first two Gyms. Hope i Helped :) Ray

It will be useless to do that. your pokemon Will not obey you because you don't have any badges and besides the first two gyms are under lv. 20 pokemon . & you will mess up heart gold or soul silver, which ever you get, because you have action replayed pokemon . trust me , i already have the game which came out for me march 14 .
