Question: Good preschool games without lots of pieces?

I'm looking for good games for my 3 and 5 yr old that don't have a lot of pieces b/ c I also have a 2 yr old in the house. I'm getting "crocodile dentist " since the teeth aren't loose like they were when we were kids. Any other suggestions? I don't mind a few pieces, but I don't want a stack of cards like candy land, for example.

Chutes And Ladders is a classic children's board game. Players 2 to 4 Age range 3 to 6 Setup time < 3 minutes Playing time < 15-20 minutes Results will be determined by random chance. Skills required: Counting.

I suspect the two older kids will love to draw. You can buy "stick on " chalk boards - they are almost like heavy paper and they are sticky on one side, and you can stick them on the wall. Each one is about as big as an ordinary sheet of paper. Use as many as you like on a wall and let them play with chalk. My grandkids who are about the same age love to play with chalk and a chalkboard. I have bought them each an individual little chalkboard (about as big as 4 sheets of paper) for when they visit. Go to a store that sells arts and crafts supplies and you should get quite a few ideas there. Where I live I would go to a store called Michaels. I often get things there for my grandkids. While they are often not exactly games, they are things the kids can do fairly independently.
